Significance of Logo
The three round cycles surrounding the Dungkhar Ugyen Choeling Goenpa symbolizes that omnipotent Triple Gem is present round the clock to give a full protection to the goenpa and the sentient beings. It also marks the importance of power of Triple Gem in dispelling all types of sufferings faced by the sentient beings. The blue wavering ocean also carries the significant meaning of vast water offerings to the triple gem like an ocean by the devotees and followers. And also it indicates the presence of sacred ocean at Goenpa. It is believed that there is a lake in a goenkhang of Dungkhar Ugyen Choeling Goenpa.
The beautiful blooming of the lotus flower with green leaves also signifies an endless flourishing of good life with longevity and the good harvest of merit like that of lotus flower without any impurities. Yet another important part is the presence of inexhaustible lotus petals and nectars. This symbolizes the abundance of facilities and infrastructure at the Goenpa to practice dharma without any hindrances and shortfalls.
Other equally important feature is White Dungkar which stands magnificently on top of the Lotus flower. These symbolize that the purity of Dharma is still being exist and practiced at the Goenpa for the benefit of leading the sentient beings to the white path practice of good deeds and behavior. It also means the presence of Dunkar Pho Mo at the Goenpa.
The sweet and charming sound that emanates from the Dungkar symbolizes the teachings of the Buddha being reached far and wide like that of Dungkar sound. It also means that the sound of dungkar liberates the beings from the undesirable circumstances and the peaceful state of mind is being achieved like an unshakeable mountain.

- Outer maroon color indicates the robe of a Monk. This means Gadhen Kencho.
- Middle white color symbolizes the teachings of Buddha. White symbolizes the purity of the teachings of the Buddha.
- Inner blue color symbolizes the color of Choeku Kuntu Zangpo. As this is the ultimate aim of every sentient being, it merits the blue color in the inner cycle. Our mind also bears the seed of Buddha and our mind carries the capacity to become a Buddha like Choeku Kuntu Zangpo. That’s why, blue color in the inner cycle is being used.
- Behind the lotus flower and the Dungkar, there lie three unshakeable mountains which signify that the teachings of the Buddha will remain un-destructed for all times like that of mountain king.
